05:30 – 06:00: We pick up guests from hotels in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, then depart at 06:00 from the Cat Ba Express office, located at 214 Tran Quang Khai Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

8:00 Pick up from your hotels within Cat Ba Town. If you stay out of this area, kindly visit our office at No. 191 road 1/4 or go directly to Beo Harbour Station.

8:30 Check-in on our cruise and start your journey ALL – IN – ONE.

Our captain steers the cruise slowly, and the poetic scenery of Cai Beo ancient fishing village constantly appears with floating houses lying along the mountainside. You will be surprised at the peaceful beauty of this 7,000-year-old village.

It's time to learn more about the local fishers, their daily life, and the cultural values shared by our experienced guides. The cruise passes through Cua Dong and heads to the core of Lan Ha Bay, you can see Rua Giong Island - a lively symbol of Lan Ha Bay.

9:30 Arrive Viet Hai; you will enjoy biking through the natural forest to Viet Hai Village for 2,5km.

Our local guides will lead you to the tunnel through the acacia forest on days with nice weather, where you can explore the richness of Cat Ba National Park's biological system.

As you bike further into the village, the views of the mountains begin to unfold on the faraway horizon. Visiting the village is an opportunity for you to learn more about the daily life of locals and explore the unique traditional values.

10:30 Start the trekking journey to Hai Quan Peak, where the real conqueror needs to check in. After a thrilling adventure, you'll reach the top of the peak and lay eyes on the top view of Lan Ha Bay, Ha Long Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay.

12:30 Enjoy traditional lunch in Viet Hai local house.

13:45 Return to the cruise and move to the authentic places of Lan Ha where you can kayak and swim.

16:00 The cruise returns to the harbor.

16:45 Arrive in Beo Wharf; All-In finishes here.

17:00 Back to Hanoi Old Quarter. 20:20: Arrival back in Hanoi.

Trekking Faqs

I've never trekked before. Is this a good option for me?

Maybe. Our treks are rugged, including sections of scrambling, and many people find them quite difficult. You are, after all, following goat trails in a Vietnamese limestone jungle.

Can we take our kids trekking?

No. Although our treks are strenuous (although rewarding) for adults, we trek on goat paths that require some amount of scrambling on sharp rock and are not suitable for children.

What if i don't want to get on the back of a motorbike?

Don't worry! We'll call a taxi to pick you up.

Will my trek go into the  national park?

Since we prefer to stay in a less-traveled area of Cat Ba Island, we do not normally run treks in the national park. If you are interested in trekking in the national park specifically, contact us and we can customize a trip for you.
